Not sure if this was addressed previously. Forgive me if it was. Does anyone know how to remove the Mobile web, Get it now, Msging and the shortcut icons from the main screen of the phone? If you do, please let me know me how. Thx.

Menu , Settings , Personalize , Home screen , Home Keys , Change Icons to "Hide" 🙂

do you know how to just eliminate the ones you dont want...can you only have one shortcut on the main menu or is it four or none?

It's 4 or none! Sorry. 😉

You can hide all the icons and set up shorcuts you want ,and just use the shortcut botton up arrow on main button.
