HELP PLEASE TONIGHT

I will be going to switch phones tomorrow from 8100 to 815. But I need to know can OBEX be activated and how and can I transfer files to and from pc and how like usb or bluetooth. Please help Thanks

Yes.

There are hacks all over this and other forums to easily do this if you search.

A simple "seem edit" (flashing your phones memory) and having a USB cable with Motorola Phone Tools will do what you want to do. I bought my stuff from E-bay for $25.00.

i transfer all my pictures, videos, and Mp3 ringtones with a standard transflash card...didn't do any seem editing...

With seemedit you can than move the stuff from tf card to the phone instead of mailing it to a junk email

that is true for Mp3 ringtones, exactly. however, just to copy pictures and vdeos, you do not need a seem edit. works great without it...

You need a cable and motorola phone tool.
Edit the seem. And bang.... Full Obex..
I was able to transfer files to and from trans flassh card onto the phone. I was able to transfer files to phone memory and flash card through bluetooth on my ibook!!

to trasfer pictures and videos from phone to PC: simply use the COPY command in the menu to copy them to the transflash card, OR, switch storage devices and actually take the pics and vids using the t-card.
