Motorola E815 / E816 Hollywood

I have been posting mainly in the 8100 forum as that is the phone I just bought, or should I say 2nd phone received. I got the 815 tonight and so far so good. The 1st night I got the lg, I was done playing with it after about an hour. I have been playing with this one for about 3 hrs now. I have to say I was an avid lg fan (still am) but so far this one is pretty good. I won't go into why I switched since most everyone knows of the troubles, also I have had to explain it to just about every verizon worker and lg rep out there. It just plain wasn't ready to be released. Now since I have had the 815 for only one night, I can't give an impartial review. I will check back in about 3 or 4 days, by then I will have run it thru the ringer (no pu...

I was an LG fan for a long time. But, the 815 has been near perfect so far. After spending some time during the trial period, I knew it was a keeper. I'm not saying I won't go back to LG someday. But, in the 8100 vs 815 match up, the 815 is the winner (in my opinion).

I have had both phones I returned 2 e815's both with camera issues and the voice dial was horrendous. I was afraid to go with my first choice the 8100 but finally when i returned the 2nd phone in 1 wk i relented i now know the camera was awful on the 815 i had blue screens and missing pixels. the sound and picture quality on the 8100 is perfect. I do not have the volume issues the speakerphone phone issues the voice dial issues. I like the way you can read your messages on the front screen. the rep at verizon store told me that he has seen more returns with the e815. I am not biased because I never liked lg before thats why I was afraid to go with the 8100 but this phone is great dont listen to the other reviews because they probable di...

Our forum is for learning and helping others to enjoy the 815 and utilize all the great features, not about bashing other phones, I wish the LG people could get that through their head and get off our backs!!! 👿 😈

It sounds like you got a bad phone. Am I the only one who tried his phone at the store before I took it home? I mean i looked at it, played with it and made sure there wasn't anything wrong with that particular phone.
honestly, ya sounds kinda dumb if you have returned 2 E815's that probably were bad phones from the time you picked them up at the store.
