Quick dial txt message?

Time for a new phone and this one is high on the list.

When I had a V60, it had a cool feature where you could assign a quick dial to start a txt message. In other words, I could hold down the '6' and it would start a txt message to the phone number in that slot.

I currently have a Samsung a670. It is a great phone, but creating txt msgs is a pain. Too many steps.

Is this possible on the e815?

Or, if you cannot, how many steps are there to start a txt msg.

On my a670:
hit mail button
enter for new msg
Option
contacts
find contact
scroll to phone #
enter
enter
Finally get to start message.

As much as I txt msg, this is too much. Hoping the 815 is fewer steps.

You won't be disappointed with the E815 .. First setup all your contacts in the 815 .. Then to send a txt to anyone in your contact list do this ,,, Press the right lower side button ,,, the phone will ask you to "Say a command" ,,, Then you say into the phone ,, "send a text message to my wife ",,, or any other name in your contact list .. Start typing your message ..

So to answer your question , you just press one button. 🙂 🙂

This phone also has the best reception of any phone I have had. I have not dropped one call yet . That is the reason I bought it and have three E815"s altogether .
all the extra things it does is a plus and amazing . 😉

Your Welcome ..

We have had our E815"s for about a week . (me wife son) .. I'm still learning all the things this phone can do .. Love it ..

This might sound crazy but I'm thing about buying a 4th E815 as a backup in case one of ours gets lost or broke . (we do not have a land line anymore.)

Have fun with your new toy ... err,, I mean phone ... 😁
