Menu Scrolling defect???
Are the sounds that play when scrolling through menus supposed to play through the extrnal speaker or the earpiece? Mine are playing through the earpiece and can barely be heard even when the scroll sounds are set to 7.
Also when picking a new scroll sound it initially plays through the external speaker until I choose to use it. Also I did a full reset AND clear of the phone and still my pics remained that I took (I have NO transflash card...just the phone's memory), and also some of the options I had to choose separately (not defaults) still remained. Any idea on these 2 issues? 😢

Now that's a new one. Most are asking how to eliminate the scrolling sound since it is annoying to the user, and those around you that may have to listen to it, like the key beeps! ☹️
Plus, it is just another drain on the battery for something that I haven't figured out has any useful benefit! 😁
Do we need a beeping noise to tell is if we are scrolling? Seems we can tell by watching the screen and see if something changes! 😳 But maybe I'm wrong! 😡

I noticed the exact same thing with my tone, I unlike a lot like a bit of a tone to the menus. Anyone else willing to turn them on for a bit to see if its a univeral issue?
Mine can be set at 7 and not sound loud at all. My LG 6000's key tones went very loud.

If you want loud scrolling sounds, just turn on the speakerphone.

Well, just picked up a replacement E815 (for various reasons). I noticed that the scroll tones still only play through the earpiece quietly even when set at Volume 7. Yes, not a big deal to some, but I would like to know for sure if they are supposed to only play through the earpiece on the phone, or actually through the external speaker...just on regular mode...NOT speakerphone. When I pick a new scroll tone in the settings, it initially plays through the extrnal speaker as a preview until I go ahead and use it. Anyone have theirs actually playing through the extrnal speaker without speakerphone on? Thanks.

Glad to hear that the scroll sound only playing through the earpiece and NOT the external speaker is normal. For some reason I remember when I got my first E815 it was playing through the external speaker for a while...maybe it was on speakerphone or something. OK, at least thats one less thing to be curious about 🤣
