Verizon Service question

I am a college student and travel from home to school. I will be getting a new plan with Verizon and using the area code where my school is. When I am home, what kind of charges will be added, or will I just use up the same amount of minutes? I'm going for the 450 plan if that helps. (39.99 per month)

There wont be any charges as long as you are in the Verizon Wireless Network and you have one of the Americas Choice Plans.

that's not entirely true, double check your coverage map to make sure your home zip isn't within a roaming area. If in doubt, dail 611 on your phone and ask the verizon rep. But for the most part, Verizon covers about 99% of the us population, so unless your parents live out in the boondocks, you'll be fine.
