What's Up With Transflash 128MB???

I recently had the Sandisk 256MB Transflash, and formatting was flawless on my phone.

I decided to go with the 128MB Transflash(It better suits my needs for now). Trying to format was a nightmare with this card! It appeared to format in my phone, but once it was put into the card reader of my pc, the computer froze. I tried it again, and same results. The pc asked if I wanted to format card, but was unable to do so. I never had to format the 256MB in my pc. I then got an error message indicating ...."I/O device."

Has anyone else experienced this with the 128MB Transflash? Please help. Thanks......... 😕

I also have a TF 128 MB card, but I have not had any problems with it. Perhaps you might have a faulty one?

Did you try formatting it on your phone again?

I also have a 128MB card with a problem, but slightly different. The card formats in the phone and I can save pictures and videos to it. Then when I put it in the PC's card reader, it can see the folders "mobile" and "motorola" on the card. But if I try to open either folder, it says the data is corrupted.

This isn't normal, right? Do I need to send this back to the store, or is there something I can try?

Of course, like an idiot, I used "move" instead of "copy" the first time, and some of my pics got corrupted. Luckily I managed to move most of them back to the phone.
