My E815 died after only 4 days!!!
👿
I don't know what happened. It was fine this morning. I took it with me to go work out at the gym, and when I left the gym, I noticed it was not on. I can't turn it back on. I tried popping the battery out a couple of times and the "Hello Moto" splash screen flickered when I popped it back in but then it goes dead.
I'm going to call Moto customer support later on and maybe even try to get this resolved at the local Verizon retail store during lunch if customer support is not helpful.

😉 You really don't need to exercise your E815. Mine has stayed in perfect shape without doing any situps or other forms of physical torture. 🙂

Thanks for the levity and I'm glad your E815 is fit for duty. I'll have to send my dud in for a replacement, as suggested by VZW.

I took my E815 for a swim at the lake. I forgot it was in my pocket when I was unloading my jet ski. I let it dry out and it works fine.

When I first got my E815 the battery was dying after about eight hours and my camera wouldn't work. I upgraded online but they sent me to the nearest Ver. wireless store. I brought the phone in they replaced it in 20 minutes and I've had no problems since. 🙂

I brought my phone in on Tuesday and fortunately they had a new one in stock. Hopefully, it lasts more than 4 days.
Once again, I was treated very well by the fine people at Verizon. Every VZW CSR I've talked to were very courteous and enthusiastic to help out. I switched back from Cingular, whose slogan should be "we're lowering the bar", especially since their ATT merger. Not to mention that Cingular had been double billing me before I bailed out of there.
The new E815 I have was quite creaky when I operate the nav control, but I noticed that it has improved over the last couple of days. Maybe it just needs some breaking in like a new pair of Nike Shox.

😳 Just remember to not make it do any situps or hard physical exercise. 🙂
Two of us in my office have had the E815 since July 5 and neither of us have experienced any problem at all. Hope your new one gives you the same great experience.
