not sure why my text got cut off. The bottom line is that if you are in an area that's being upgraded to EV and your phone goes back and forth between "EV" and "1X", you will have the same problem - a charge that lasts under 2 days no matter how little you use the phone. I was told it will get better with time, but Verizon taking a TS stance.

When I took my phone in to have it looked at because it had died on me, the Verizon service rep said that he's been getting a lot of complaints of shorter than advertised battery life due to the phone switching to EV, pretty much like how you described it.
