It WILL work when closed, but you have to open it up to change volume or tracks (the Directional Left and Right will do this when re-opened).
also, I impartially and happily have both the 815 and 8100. I find the speakers on the 8100 sound better, but prefer to actually HAVE a MP3 player without needing to find some work-around.
Does anyone know wether or not there any other particularly valuable items (SEEM edits) to unlock out of this other than OBEX?
And is there any way to unlock OBEX thru bluetooth?

Of course there is!!! 😉 Who would buy this phone if you could seem edit it to unlock OBEX via datacable and bluetooth. I enabled it all and it works fine 🙂
