How do you access the menu to change the Codec (Kodek) feature?

I noticed the posts that say to hit the menu key (the one in the middle of the top row with four lines on it) and then hit 0 and enter 73887. Whenever I try this- the phone doesn't do anything. It just pulls up the main menu.

Am I missing something?
