QUESTIONABLE BUILD
my first 815 was awesome, i loved the features and especially the signal strength. but i had to return it because only 4 days after i had it the top part of the phone was kind of loose. it would move side to side from the bottom part. it just bugged me too much and i dont think a phone is supposed to do that. anybody please just let me know if you have had the same problems because i do not want a flimsy phone.
thanks

No problems here. My phone is solid, tight, and does not creak. I've had it since the first day they were available. I've also dropped it twice with no ill effects. I'm not sure why yours came loose. Did you try another one?
I see a lot of concerns about build quality. I have no doubt mine is tough enough to last for at least the next two years.

yea i am on my second one and its really tight, but when i open it it makes a clicking creaking noise. it doesnt bother me that much but i just want to make sure i have a phone that will last. and i dont feel like having to keep trying this phone till i get one thats perfect, so i guess its not that big of a deal.

That's not a creak, it's a very subtle click. It clicks with you both open and close the phone. I've heard several others who thought is was a creak, but it's not. It's supposed to do that. You've got a good phone.

🙂 I bought mine on July 5 and it is rock solid. No build or quality problems at all. Most impressive part is that it has survived being used a lot by my 9 year old daughter. 😉
