Motorola E815 / E816 Hollywood
No missed call log
Is it me or is this phone missing a way to track missed calls without going into the received call log. On my previous phone lg vx6000, if I missed a call it would say so on both the internal and external screens. The E815 does not. Is there a setting that enables this or does this phone just lack one. If so, that sucks! 😢

Yeah, I noticed that as well. Its kind of on and off for me. If I hear my phone going off, but I dont get to it in time, the external display says, 1 missed call. But if I just don't hear the phone or check, and then later open the phone, it will say 1 missed call, but not on the external display. Either way it usually tells me, sometimes it will notify me by beeping. It's all very random and I Dont know how to change it. It always beeps when i have a new voicemail, but sometimes when i miss a call. go figure.

Actually you CAN see calls you've missed in the received calls menu - it's just a matter of details in the 815's user interface.
Look at the little icons at the left of each received call. For calls you've answered, the icon shows a phone, arrow, and check mark. For calls you've received but not answered, the icon is just the phone and arrow (NO check mark).
Once you know what to look for, it ain't so bad. 😁

it depends on which outside button u hit to view it on the external screen...if u tap the camera button when u havea missed call it will say missed call then u can open it and it will still say missed call...if u use the speakerphone button it will say missed call and if u hit it again it will tell u who its from...once u do this it wont be displayed on teh internal screen and they way u see it is so hit the send button and it will show u with an arrow without a check mark
