Considering purchasing the e815; have not yet used the phone, but have heard the predictive text (itap) is more difficult to use than the T9 on the LG8100. Feedback on frequent experiences with itap would be appreciated.

Try it, if you don't like it you do not have to use it. It is an option and it gives you a couple of options you can choose. 🙄
Any predictive text is only going to "guess" it right some of the time, certainly not all of the time! 😕
