Missed Calls Call Indicator - I think I got it right...
🙄 Ok, I just want to make certain that I understand the posts regarding the E815’s “missed call” (RECENT CALLS) notification. Per your posts, if the phone in ON and I miss calls:
-The outside display will show the “recent calls” icon ONLY – no total for # of calls missed
-The inside display will show the “missed calls” icon ONLY – no total for #of calls missed, telephone numbers or names
-To view the total number of missed calls, or to view the telephone number of the last missed call and any other missed calls, one has to navigate through the “RECENT CALLS” menu.
Am I correct? 🙄

If you want to see EXACTLY how it works and looks, why don't you just call your cell phone on your land line and not answer the call! 🙂
That way you can see how the Missed Call looks and also the Voicemail! 😉

Because I don't have the phone....

Do you have to own the phone to ask questions here? I was hoping to clear up a few specifics that I didn't see covered in the E815's manual (online) before I purchased the phone.

Go to a Verizon store, use thir phone to call your current cell phone, which will give your the number of the E815 from which you called. Now call that number with your current cell phone, and do not answer it. Now you get to see it in person!

I've been reading messages in this particular forum for a while now trying to decide between the 815 and LG 8100. Everyone is generally very nice.
jimspobox, are you the moderator? Why do you always have to be such a wise a**? People ask honest questions, and you always have to come back with some smart remark most of the times when it's really not necessary. I guess there has to be one in every group.

I also suggest you find a verizon store that has an e815 activated. Then, you can check it out for yourself. Make a list of things that are important for your needs, then give it a whirl. good luck, jack
