Speakerphone still on when flip closed?

I just noticed that when talking on the speakerphone with the flip open, simply closing the flip will not end the call. It seems you either have to push the end button or close the flip then push and hold the speaker button. Is there anyway to change the settings so that closing the flip will end the call?

DCF,
I don't think you can alter that setting. Maybe someone will come up with a hack. I'll bet they did it that way for those of us that own/owned phones that would not allow the use of the speaker with the unit closed.

I'm about to unload an Audiovox 9500. One of my least favorite features about the 9500 is the speakerphone set up. Either you rigged the phone, or you lost your speaker calls when you closed the phone.

hold down the left side button below the toggle for 3 seconds and it will turn speakerphone on or off during a call.

the main screen will indicate that the speaker is on or off.

When the phone is in speaker mode and closed, you can simpley press the button on the left hand side under the volume key to answer the call and again to end the call.

I think it id a good feature to have on the phone. I like being able to close the phone and set it on my desk and talk.

Thats just my two cents worth, hope this help.
