Picture ID transferred from TransFlash card?

Can I use a picture ID from a Transflash card? I assume I have to transfer it to the memory on the phone? Bascially, I want to sync my "future" 815 (I'm ordering it today) with my Mac via iSync. However, iSync doesn't transfer address book images to the 815....not sure why. So, I was going to load them up via a card. Can I do this?

You have to transfer the pic to the phone's memory to use it as a picture ID. I use a transflash card, and that's what I had to do.
