e815 text ringers?
Does anyone have any trick or a possible way to make the 815 have individual text message ringers? I'd like to have a text ringer ID instead of one sound for all people.
That's about the only feature I don't see that I would like to have.

What do you mean by a "text ringer" ID? It already does text display of who is calling for each individual. But what is a text "ringer"?
Do you mean "voice announcement"? If so, then just record the name of a person as a ringtone, send it to your phone and set it for that person.

If your talking about the alert you get when you get a text message, then no, you can't make it different for each person who texts you.

yeah, that's what I meant. Sorry I wasn't more specific. and... crap, that sucks. That's the only thing keeping me in my LG6100

Be glad it's not an option. My first T720 I had had a ringer ID that worked like that. If I set up a ringer ID for "bob" his calls and text messages would both ring with his special ringer. There were many times I would "answer" a text message from people I thought were calling me. Wasn't long before I turned off the ringer ID option.
