Ok,
After a short 30 month trial at Cingular with a great phone (Rokr), but need I go down that road with the utter lack of management from the top down? I am back to Verizon (never actually left).

Just got yet another E815 last night and noticed when I got home that the 3 button and the voice command key are dead!!!

I've given up on the 815 completely DONE. Going to get the 8100 until I see what the CDMA razr looks like.

Quality control must have gone out the window at Motorola, I got my 815 on July 5th at a circuit city store (not in Verizon stores in the beginning) Knock on wood, not one problem!

Glad yours is ok. Probably most are, but everyone I had was junk.

Got the new revised updated 8100 and it is perfect except not the same reception at Motos.

Question, Did the voice command key ever work? Did you by chance pair up a BT headset to the phone? I have done this with 2 new phones and killed the voice command key both times. Verizon is scratchin their head on this one.

I've heard the voice command key stops working if you delete all the quick text messages, and starts working if you add at least one back in. Did you delete those messages?

(wouldn't explain why the 3 key didn't work, that's just weird)

Well you heard correctly. I did delete all the quick texts and I just put one back and the voice commands are back. Thanks so much. Verizon needs to spend a little time in this forum!
Thanks again.
