So which one currently, as of Sept. 21. 2005 do you all think is the best one for the E815 --- cost not being an issue -- quality, features, and NO echo being the main thing.

(yes i searched -- hence why I am asking to bring it up to date)

IMO, the Motorola H500. Haven't seen it in stores, at least locally, but can get a good price on ebay.

Thanks Mary, I saw and ready our review on it, but I really like the look of the 850, but I have heard so many bad things about it....how big is the 500 model?

If you like the look of the 850, you might want to check out the H700 due to release Q4 2005... same look, but 30% smaller and Moto claims "echo cancellation technology"!

I have the H500 and love it! The H700 isn't realeased yet and not even on ebay, so I don't think anyone has tried that one yet.

Can't really say as there has been no reviews on it. But I can tell you that I love my H500 and am extremely happy with it. I may try the H700 when it is available, just to see how it is, and if I like it better than I can always sell my H500 on ebay and probably not be out much. The way my H500 is working now, though, I don't see changing. I have tried several different headsets and I think I have a definate winner with this one. The Jabra BT250V was a nice one too.

I agree with what Mary said, I also have the H500 and it is by far the nicest headset that I've ever used. I had it sitting on my desk at work and people were asking me what it was. This is the only headset where I can talk in a normal tone of voice in a noisy environment and still be heard.

I have the HS850 and I do not like the low volume on it. How is the H500's volume? I love the HS850's looks and on/off microphone feature; people can hear me find, but even at home I have trouble hearing people, let alone in a car! My hearing is great but even at the highest setting it is too low...how can Moto put something out with such a low volume? I hope the H700 is better.

I own the HS810 and the HS820 and like them both. Don't have any problems. ;-)
