why does cdma have the uglier phones? honestly, the gsm nokia flips look way better, as well as the motorola's and samsungs. why is this?
This isnt bashing or anything, i'm jsut realy curious as to why the antenna's are cheaper, the phones are bigger, and they dont have cool styling?

I don't know--never really had a reason or a desire to look at a GSM phone since my phone works great all the time. I'd rather it worked as a phone instead of as a fashion accessory.

Perhaps the CDMA hardware is bigger or has bigger antenna requirements?

Keep in mind too that there are tons of GSM carriers ... so a company like Moto might put more time and effort (hence $$) into the design of the GSM models.

Alot of cool features from the V600 never made it to the nearly identically shaped V710 or E815 ... mostly asthetic ... like glowing Moto logo. 🙂

One thing i miss are changeable face plates. Again the V600 had them ... why not the V710 and E815? One more accessory for them to make $$ on. I guess people are less likely to get a whole new phone ... if they can spend $15 to make it look brand new again with a face plate. 🙄
