Can e815 hook to a thumb drive?

I have searched through the forums and I am going to get this phone. Just curious if I can use the USB connectors to hook up to a thumb flash drive. I know about the microSD, and SanDisk will come out with a 1GB at the end of the year, but still wondered if my current thumb drive could be read by the phone. I am in my car a ton and can go through many, many songs, pics and vids in a week. Yeah, this may be crazy, but I like to think of the possibilities.

Anyone ever tried this? Thanks in advance for any help.

Well, the phone supports a transflash card. I have one, and it was working well up until today... but that's another story. It's better to get a transflash since it is designed to fit in the phone and not hang on the outside like a thumb-drive would. Afterall, do you really want to add any bulk to your phone? Probably not.
It seems amazon only has the 128mb available now. I have the 256. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/- /B0002JC36I/qid=1129589439/sr=8-1/ref=pd_bbs_ 1/103-1224261-3238231?v=glance&s=photo&n=5078 46

Thanks for the response. I know about the transflash, and plan to get a big one. Just wondering if it is possible, not if I would necessarily need to. Always good to have options.

Thanks!
