Transflash is slow

Hey,
My phone is taking a really long time to access and read the transflash card. It still plays mp3s without skipping, but when I go to access the photo album, it will take 10 seconds or so to even open the album, and then it is slow with showing thumbnails. This just seemed to start today, and I really have no idea what's going on. And yes, I did turn the phone off and on again and I inserted and removed the card. This is very strange, especially since the phone manages to access anything stored in its own memory much faster.

Thanks for your help!

I seem to have fixed it.
I copied all of my data off the card and onto my computer. Then I formatted the card with the phone and copied my data back. It seems to be running much faster now. Weird.

Make sure you also turn off the phone when inserting or removing the card. Tha manual tells you do do this to prevent problems on the card.

Yes, I know some have said they leave it on with no problems, but it only takes ONE time to screw it up and it may be "better to be safe than sorry"! 😎

Also, even with a new card, it is a good idea to format in the phone before using it or when problems develop on the card. Just another idea to try to eliminate problems in the future! 😉
