Please tell me how you got the free 9800. I have a v710 and verizon is switching me out and I want that phone soooo bad, but they wont give it to me because it is $100 more than the e815 and they wont even let me pay out of pocket for it. HELP!

Think about this......... DO you actually think a multi billion $$$$ corporation is going to lose a customer who's been with them for a loooooooong time with the prospect of losing their entire network of people associated with them over a few lousy hundred $$$ ?? I threaten to leave, my relatives and my friends follow in my foot steps. a few phones from time to time is mearly drops of pennies in the bucket for Verizon. Remember they are a MULTI BILLION DOLLAR CORPORATION. 😁

I wouldn't care if they cut my service. See, once you have that I don't care ATTITUDE (They can hear it in your voice) YOU HAVE THE UPPER HAND. Never back down and make sure to go for the throat.

Not exactly. Think about it, YOU have a long history of defective handsets and state that your SICK AND TIRED AND REFUSE TO GO THROUGH ANOTHER 2 more of the same model handsets and request that you be upgraded IMMEDIATELY or else. 🤣

One more secret, right before the year warranty expires on a handset, you simply bring it back and make up some excuse that your getting a lot of dropped calls or whatever. (being there are so many defective handsets out there they don't care) they switch you out with a reconditioned unit but remember now, you still have another WHOLE year warranty on the re-conditioned handset A NEW warranty goes into effect. 😁

ahhhhhhhh See, that is the challenging part, Of course the comparable models are the 8100 and the new A950 from Samsung. Basically you just have to tell them where they can stick those two other models. Once it is so far up their you know what, then the only option is the 9800 😁

Most folks get taken advantage by Verizon. But not I. When I had to warranty exchange my home charger for my 710 many months back, I walked into Verizon and they took one look at the end of the charger because the plastic was starting to crack at the end. There was no sign of abuse whatsoever. It was a legitimately justified exchange. The rep looked at it, turned around and said to me that I had to spend $30 to buy a new charger. Ok so......... I didn't bother to say anything. I raised one eyebrow and stared right into the reps eyes for a few seconds without even a blink and he started to shudder. What 9800 exchange? I ended up keepin my 815 and used that for my second line and got a 9800 handed to me. See, persistance is the key.... For example, you apply for a job, you send in a resume. It states that no phone calls accepted. BULLS***! I call up and make sure I get to speak to a hiring manager. I follow up days later. I end up with a job weeks later. Guess they figured I wouldn't leave them alone till they offered me the job. 😁

i went to verizon and asked for a replacement they did replace it for a new phone because it been under my 30 days but the bad thing is they gave me the same mdl.. no luck damn this phone has alot of issues tho, the damn hinge sounds like its going to crack and when i use the phone its like static for some reason.... im going there tommorrow and get a replacement.. sh***
