Motorola E815 / E816 Hollywood
E815 so frikkin retarted!
My phone has been trippin lately. I will just list a few things that has been happening.
1. The backight will just turn off, and stay black, so i can't see the screen. As of right now, i cant even see the screen on my phone. This happens constantly.
2. Restarts by itself randomly.
3. Video cam and cam are busy at times.
4. Horrible speaker..!
5. Battery life, no longer than a day, even when i barely use it.
#1 is whats really getting on my nerves though.
p.s. I mean what can i do, when the screen is unable to be looked at?! 👿 😢

You need to return the phone to the VZ center and get it replaced. You have a defective phone. The phone can really work great once you get a good unit. I went through three and had to have the third one reprogrammed before I got it to be 100%. Now, everything works perfectly and I am very satisfied with the phone. Return yours ASAP.

Did you ever get the phone replaced after dropping it in water? If not, I would look at that as the cause of your troubles. You'll need to go buy a new phone since VZW can't warranty the one you have and you declined the insurance.

anyways... for the past few weeks, my phone has been working just perfectly fine. i think it was acting up, because it was still trying to dry out from the water incident.

I'm having issues with the backlight also..but there's a twist...Mine will be off like it should and then randomly turn on...then off...then on...and this might also explain my battery issues...as well as yours. I thought for a day that maybe it was going in and out of service, and that's why the light was flippin out...but it's not...i have steady service...so...i'm gonna have to get a new phone...maybe the razr? maybe something else? either way, it'll be full price.

go to the verizon store and they will swap it out under warranty exchange - they are always accomodating.
