ive read em all still cant d/l ring tones

ive had the 815 for almost 2 months..read all posts given up several times and try again and still cant get it

ive followed these directions

For WAV ringtone:

send as txt msg to my phone thru

get txt msg...choose open d/l
error msg #61 unable to download

just got phone flashed have S/W version
8720_01.17.03

not interested in walmart ring tones, id like to use my existing music either thru cd or whats on my hard drive
please have suggestions

Well if you've already downloaded wavpad. then follow these instuctions.
1) select song.
2) select 30 seconds of the song
3) cut it and paste it into a new wav.
4) select 64K bps in stereo.
5) Save file as mp3. Stereo
6) after it is save change the .mp3 to .mid it will say it will not work properly but it will.
7) then you can send it thru your#@vzwpix.com or use the transflash card.

how and where to i chg to save as a midi file?
i have the cut and paste into a new wav pad fine

didnt see where i was suppose to select 64k bps in stereo
but i did cut and paste fine..now its stored on my desk top in an mp3 file...i chose stereo there and 64 there

how do i chg to a midi..thru wavepad?
