E815 price on Verizon website UP again!?!?!?
😡
What is going on with VERIZON? The price of the e815 was 149 after rebate then it changed to 99. Today I look and it's back up at the price of $149 after rebate. What is going on? I am awaiting the RAZR to see if I want to buy the RAZR or e815, but now that the price is back up on the e815, I may as well wait for the razr. Any thoughts???

815 is far superior. RAZR's don't hold up well either. I sell both.

every few weeks when the promo's change the 8100 and 815 switch off between the $100 and $150 price point.. been doing that since release.

How do you compare the 815 vs. the Samsung 950, since you sell them?
...
Any insiders know when Verizon will lower the price on the website again? Thanks

I think it's pretty bogus, to.

It's $99 @ RadioShack. 815 is a great phone, but some of the changes Verizon makes in software kind of water it down because they want you to purchase every little thing from them, but that is the case with any carrier-locked phone. Right now, it's the phone to get from Verizon unless you want the extras associated with a PDA/Smartphone.

Andrew, thank you for responding to my other posting regarding the E815. I called Radio Shack, and yes they do have it at $99. However, they will not be a Verizon Wireless representative after January 1st according to the rep I spoke with over the phone, and he was not too certain how they would handle returns at that point.
Since the major reason I prefer to buy it retail rather than through online (re Amazon) is the ability to return a bad phone and get an immediate replacement, I am loath to buy it @ RS. Particularly since a common thread that I keep reading in the forums is that the E815 is great when you get one that works. I think I'll keep checking VW to see if they drop the price.
