Anyone else have this issue?

I understand the camera is 1280x1040, but any picture that I select to make my wallpaper, no matter how high I set the resolution, always looks pixelated. My V600 had half the resolution on pictures, and it looked better on the screen as wallpaper. Any way to make em look better? Or anyone else having this issue? Other than this, I love the phone.

Yes - everyone has this issue. You can fix it by transferring the picture back to your computer, resizing it to the screen resolution (176 x 220 pixels), then putting it back on the phone.

(Or at least so I'm told, as I never actually change my background. But it's been discussed before.)

If you can't transfer the picture (haven't edited the your phone to allow bluetooth transfer and/or don't have a memory card), and aren't willing the pay verizon $0.25 for each transfer, then I don't know of any other way to do it. It is kind of lame, as it seems like displaying the picture should be real easy for them to fix, but that's just the way it is.

i noticed this problem too, but when i looked at my friend's phone (he also has an e815) all the pictures worked a lot better as his wallpaper. I even took a new picture and set it as the wallpaper to test it and it wasnt pixelated hardly at all. I looked at some of his settings and they all appeared to be the same as mine. Is there anyone who knows a way to fix it other than resizing the pictures?
