Not that anyone should care (unless you luv trivia), but the Hollywood is now the 'Motorola E816 Hollywood':
Amp'd also announced this week that is has partnered with Motorola to launch the Motorola E816 Hollywood handset, a mid-tier high-speed EV-DO clamshell for use on Amp'd Mobile's broadband wireless service. Key entertainment features of the handset include an MP3-quality music player with 1-button access to favorite tunes; a 1.3 megapixel camera with a dedicated camera key, photo indicator and 4x digital zoom; MPEG-4 video and playback; and a 262,000-color display.

I think the E816 also has push-to-talk.. kinda neat, i guess.

Do you know if this phone work on the Verizon network? I love the look of this phone and would consider purchasing it from Amp'd however I do not have ptt service on Verizon & don't intend on getting it. I would just like to use it on the rate plan that I currently have. Thank you

There's no word on that yet. "Just ask Moto or Verizon" like someone suggested elsewhere probably won't yield diddly either, since customer service reps aren't gonna risk gettin' fired for disclosin' the info ahead of any official announcement.
Oh, an' despite the fact that it does PTT, I don' think you HAVE to use the PTT feature or a PTT plan with the phone on Amp'd.. Amp'd jus' wants to charge you an extra dollar a day when you do use the feature. No word on how Verizon would deal wit' its PTT ability *if* an' when they ever get the phone.
Kinda sux, I really like the look of the phone too an' wish VZW would get it.

Mid Tier eh? Since when did EVDO phones with 1.3MP cameras with BT and MP3 capability make it down into mid tier?
