Does a firmware update delete Get It Now software?

I just got this phone. I'd like to take it to Verizon to get the firmware updated, but I've already downloading some applications via Get It Now. Would I have to redownload them (and pay for them again) after updating the firmware?

I have had issues in the past with vzw and get it now. Call *611 and ask them about it. If they say to download the same apps again and credit your account, get that person's name! One time they gave me a problem, but after speaking to someone else, I was credited for everything I was charged to get all of my previous apps. They just make you get the same thing again. You can't lose Tetris and download Pacman instead, even if they cost the same. Hope that helps.
