Motorola E815 / E816 Hollywood
sound and picture attachments
First off, please don't tell me to do a search on this topic to find answers. I have done searches using every possible combination of these terms and every synonym you can think of. When I find something that looks promising, it either goes off on a tangent before my questions are answered or there is no response at all. So, here it goes:
I have successfully e-mailed and downloaded sounds and pictures to my phone (E815) in the past. They are on it now, completely accessible. Lately, when I try to attach a sound or picture to an e-mail--through Hotmail--the window closes itself and nothing happens. I was able to get a couple messages sent to the phone but they cannot be downloaded. "Unable to download. Please try again later." I contacted Verizon, messaging is activated. What else do I need to know or try?

Well, first off, what browser are you using? I'd try Mozilla Firefox. Its alot more stable than Internet Explorer. I have also had success e-mailing myself pics and whatnot, but often times get the same message you do - "unable to download". Its hit and miss. Be sure that your pics and audio (maybe even including the size of the email its self) is under 300k.
