VX8100 on pre-sale on Ebay for only $299.99
This person is pre-selling the VX8100 on Ebay saying that it will be available end on April to early May...thought I'd pass it along.

This guy seems to be legit, he has good feedback and answered my question very quickly. He said the phone is going to retail for $325 with no contract. He is also offering a full refund if it doesn't come out by early May. It's pretty tempting, especially considering if you buy the auction, he has to send it even if the price ends up being more expensive.

A phone with this much stuff built-in seems reasonable even at $325...especially when you think about the V710 that was much more when it came out. It is tempting but I really want to see the E815 first.

Well honestly the 8100 has more built in memory, and they seem to be very similar in size. Also if the VX8000 is any indication, you should be able to view text messages on the front screen with the 8100.
The only thing the 815 will have going for it will be Motorola's UI , which some people prefer. Depends if that's you or not.

I talked to him as well and he said that he would send a reciept with it so if any rebates apply you could get it. I think that I am going to dive in on this one. or I may wait for a month after come out. May get a better deal that way.

Yeah, it's possible he couldn't get them as cheaply as he was expecting. Anyone who bought it before should still get one for the $299, though, per eBay rules. I'm not too concerned because when this phone is released, I'm signing back with Verizon so I'll just get the promo price.
