What things are crippled?

I have been following these posts and I understand that certain features may be crippled. Which features exactly are expected to be disabled and how might that affect me?
Can I move mp3s from computer to 8100 easily? Is this via bluetooth or card or both? If bluetooth, do I just buy a usb adapter for the computer? If card, can I just stick in in the reader, dump on the tunes and stick the card in the phone? Or is it harder than that?
Is it true I have to go thru Verizon and pay them just to move photos out of the phone? Can I send them to another phone without paying?
So...what can't it do that it should be able to do that I don't even know I need?

It is likely that the Dial Up Networking bluetooth profile will not work on any Verizon phone, ever. Enabling this profile would allow people to use the phone as a wireless modem via the EV-DO network for the price of V-Cast. Assuming the phone is EV-DO compatible. It also keeps the phone more secure.

There will be ways to not pay Verizon to retrieve the photos from the phone. To send them directly to another phone you will always have to pay. You are using a VZW service

Bluetooth is not a VZW service, it is done off network, right?

Correct. Ah, I see where you are going here. I'm not sure if you would be able to use BT to transfer photos and sounds to another phone. Probably. If it is not supported, there will likely be an unsupported workaround on the internet within a month or two of the phone's release.
