Price
🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 Anyone have a hint as to the price? Also, where do you get a mail-in-rebate from? I haven't seen anything.
...
More than likely it will be slightly more expensive then the 8000 on rollout ($279.99 - $70 mail in rebate). Allthough this is a GUESS and my guess, I would say around $299.99 and then a $70 mail in rebate. Talk this for what it is worth.

Update to my previous post:
From what I have heard and seen, it looks like the 8100 will be around $400. Whether that is full retail or contract price I can not be sure. My guess is that is full retail and then the 2 year contract price is $250 with a $50 mail in rebate. I know for sure that the rebate is only $50 though 😳

Holy moly 😳
I sure hope the $400 price is full retail rather than contract price!! 😳
Has Verizon ever had a phone that was that much @ contract price? If so, did many people actually buy it?
...
A $400 price on a 2yr contract is (should be) the realm of PDA's and smartphones, if they tried to get $400 for the 8100 on a 2yr then they really don't want the things to sell well.
...
I HIGHLY doubt that the $400 is the contract price, the 8000 is not even close to that and the 8100 does not have much more technology in it to be $400 at contract price, but then again, there is a first for everything ☹️

I agree, $400 seems very expensive, especially when you compare it to the PalmOne Treo 650 being released at $399. I think the treo 650 is much more phone than the 8100 overall. I look for something in the $200-$300 price range.
Just an opinion...

I'm going to say $250 which includes a mail-in rebate. But the mail-in rebates are instant rebates on Verizon's website I think. And what if we're all wrong and the release date isn't June 27th, but really the day after Father's Day. hmmm
