According to all of the reliable VZW insiders at Hofo, June 27th is the date, confirmed from a VZW weekly update document, not to mention the rebates have been floating around for a short while as well.

What VZW document are you talking about? I do think that we finally near the date but only thing we can do is wait and see.
I know we have seen the rebate forms that are out for the phone and most info centers are listing the phone so its pretty safe to say that June 27th will be a good day to shop for a new phone.

Update: It looks like the E815 & VX8100 will definitly be dual launching on the 27th. It was stated in a weekly update document. There will also be some new Americas Choice/Data bundle plans coming out that will give you more of a discount the higher the plan you are on. Still cannot find any concret info on the pricing of the new EVDO phones. More to come as I get it.

Im confirming the Voice/Data bundle plans, there will be 3 seperate plans all for pda/smart phones.
As for the 8100 I dont see anything anywhere. I dont even have 8100 rebates in infocenter yet.\

Which market are you referring to? Northeast? south? west? I think it will most likely be the northeast market that these two new phones will be released.

Just called a VZW reseller in NYC, and the sales guy told me they are getting the phones toward the end of this week, possibly even on Wednesday. I don't know how it all works, so maybe they can't sell them or activate them until the 27th, but he told me to call back later this week as he knows he is getting them in!

Right, in order to have stock on hand for launch day on 6/27, the phones would start getting there the end of this week. I doubt they will be able to sell them until Monday, but they will have them.
Just like right before the VX8000 came out, I went to the VZW store 2 days prior and the salesperson brought one out to show me, and said they would be selling them in a couple days.

The same thing happened with the Treo 650. The local Verizon mall kiosk got it in ("unexpectedly" as the sales person said) on the Friday before the Monday it was on sale.
Looks like Monday June 27th is the day based on the following:
1. I saw the rebate form in person there yesterday.
2. The Radio Shack date is two weeks later.
3. The 8100 accessories are appearing on the web site.
We are techno thirsty consumers.

I hope they have enough of these phones when they finally start selling them, because where I live there are so many people that want them, that it is almost like having to sit out side all night at a concert to get one... 🤣 🤣 🤣

Of course if it does come out on Monday the 27th.. I have to work that day, and it takes me an HOUR to get to the Verizon store in my State. So I will have to call and see if they will hold one for me too, but the people in our Verizon store are very RUDE!!!!.. I haven't had very many nice people that I have dealt with there that's for sure..So we will just see.

It says my sessions has timed out and when I go to the accessories to look it up, it only gives me the 8000 and no option to change the model. Click on the link and see if you get anything different.

go to accessories and go to "lg" then scroll to the 8000 and click.........then in the address bar change the 8000 to 8100.......you should get 8100 accessories....i think anyways

You can type any number in there and it will say these are the accessories.

Yes, the accessory thing on Verizon's website is weird. I even typed in "1000" as the model # and it came up with all the same stuff! However, if you go to LG's website ww.us.lge.com and go to "mobile phones" and then to "accessories", click on "more" under the list of phone models, you will see the 8100 model listed. No picture of it though (but we can see the pic. here). 😁
