More Bad News
Well yet more dissapointing news i'm afraid. I was in Radio Shack and the 98 year old lady helping me looked at me like i was crazy when i asked about the 8100 and kindly pointed out the very newest LG they had (the 7000) I guess this means the phone is never coming out. đĄ âšī¸

No offense to her or Radio Shack...Maybe she is a little "behind the times". If she was saying the newest phone was the 7000...hmmmm. Well, we all know that there is an 8000 which is newer than the 7000. Sounds like maybe Radio Shack isn't quite as updated as the actual retail Verizon stores. The website now posts the LG VX 4650, so my guess THAT is the newest LG phone. And since Radio Shack doesn't have that yet...

B3G3 was simply pointing out that Radio Shack has nothing on the phone. Simply making a post about the phone, thinking it may not be out soon. There's nothing wrong with that. As far as MY post, I was simply stating that Radio Shack may not be the best source since they don't have the 8000 or 4650...

I've been wanting the 8100 and can't wait for it to come out, but it's not like the world is going to stop if it's not out right this minute. But I will say that I am very excited about it. I'll have to look at it though b/c that could make it or break it... đ

Actually the 8000 IS available at RadioShack (that's where I got mine.)
The handset was only released to stores that are in VCast markets. While EVDO is rapidly spreading it's not available in a lot of places. The more EVDO tower growth the more RadioShacks you'll VCast handsets in.
