LG VX-8100
LG VX-8100 vs Other Verizon Phones!?!?
i was very interested in this phone. I have a Samsung E-715 for Tmobile but Tmobiles reception has gotten too poor for me recently. I was also looking at the Samsung E720 & E730 which arent released in the US or set US Carrier! I wasn't sure of LG since i've fallen in love with Samsung, i wanted a little more than the Samsung A670 offers and am unsure about the Samsung A890..im looking to use the phone for txting,normal call usage,pics and would like mp3's/mp3 ring tones!

you could always wait for the samung a970 whcih seems to have everyhting your looking for! though it has been confirmed on phonemag.com for verizon it might be awhile before it actually comes out.i personally would prefer it to the lg-vx8100 because it has a bigger screen,far better designed also found it hard to buy that the vx-8100 is coming out monday when it's not even listed as "coming soon on the web site!!!!!!)

Is the samsung a970 even listed on phonescoop?? i havent seen the phone but i would love to get a samsung i've never had an LG but i'm a bit skeptical. I'm looking to get a phone hopefully before august but could wait a bit longer!

no, oddly enough the samsung a970 is not listed on phone scoop, for a good look and review of specs on it though you could check out the coverage of cita2005,it was introduced there,and phone mag .com has some specs and photos of it.what im afraid will ahppen?i will finally get the lg-vx8100 and watch the samsung come out right after!!!!that happned to me last year when i got the v600 and about two months later the v710 came out.errr!

this phone loooks amazing and def along the lines to blow the LG out of the water in my eyes. I've had horrible experiences with Motorola and dont trust their crap never had an LG but have been in love and impressed with my Samsungs!
they mentioned a "get it now" feature which leads to the possbility of Verizon. How much would you assume this Samsung a970 and LG 8100 would retail for with a contract?

Bet you it will have the same problem as the scha610. too many people will break the swivel on this damn thing. LG is the way to go. great quality phones on the upper end, 6100, 7000, 8000. i have found things i don't like about each but overall, good phones. i guess you can tell i'm a huge LG fan. i don't see to many of them in our tech department ( minus the 4500). lol

i haven't ever had a lg but i am open to trying them out. Is the 4500 the first picture phone that EVERYONE has?? I know a few people who have that phone and its a POS which is what makes me a bit skeptical. Is that swivel feature flimsy? It seems a bit sturdy on this phone but also gives me qualms about how the phone will last. I'm a samsung fan after having my E-715! I just want to have both phones out in my hand and make a decision...a large difference in price could do it! How much would these 2 phones go for? even a ballpark figure!

The LG 4500 isn't a camera phone. I've got the 4500 and haven't had any problems with it. The only thing I don't like about it is the clarity and color (sounds like I am talking about diamonds!) of the internal display.

How have LGs been with relability and with small drops and heavy use etc? this phone looks promising the samsung a970 scares me with that flip screen! I'm torn between the 2 i think...how about the LG that can be ptt but isnt the 4650 i think?
i would really love a nice new samsung flip phone such as the e720 or e730 but im not sure if they are coming to the US!
