What is the differnce between a half duplex speakerphone and a full deuplex speakerphone? I'm just curious.

With half duplex, you can only either send (talk) or receive (listen), but not both, at the same time. Thus, if you're talking (or there's sufficient noise from the background), you cannot hear the other party talking. With full duplex, you can both talk (and listen) at the same time. I would be surprised and very disappointed if the 8100 is not full duplex.
