I hope this phone doesn't get released anytime soon unless fully tested.....
I have to go to Verizon tomorrow to get my THIRD 8000 due to software issues. Long story short I downloaded a get-it-now game and my phone started resetting itself. I took it into Verizon and found out there is another software version (5) and mine was at 4. The tech tried loading the newest software and the phone rejected it.
Customer service told him to replace the phone but they were out of stock and I didn't have time to get to another store tonight.
I'd rather wait and make sure the 8100 is bullet-proof instead of having them rush a defective product to market.

🙄 I second the motion. I've never seen so many hyper people, including me. I would hate to see, after all this time, the phone is released and has problems. I'm still seriously thinking about the MOTO, especially if they change the menu. Heard somewhere it might be similar to LG's. The phone isn't even out and there is talk of an updated model.

I AGREE! I'd much rather wait for a phone that has been through all the proper testing and then some.
My "issue" with the Motorola is that the external display will be the same (according to the specs) as the V710. I know it's color but the resolution is pitiful! It looks really "blocky". Hmmm, hope that makes sense.
