Price just increased on vx8000

This Morning the vx8000 was reduced to $99.00 on the Verizon website. Now its back up to $149.00. what's the deal with that?

It is $149 with a two year contract in Eastern Washington State too.

I just went to vzw.com and it says $149.99 with a one year contract and $99.99 with a two year contract. Both after a $50 online discount.

Same here in Michigan it still says 99.99 on a two year.

Verizon's website remembers my zipcode, so when I shop it shows the right plans and everything...I just changed zipcodes to Michigan and Verizon's website listed essentially the same phones but with deeper discounts than in the Las Vegas zipcodes. I guess I'll have to switch the zipcode thing to find the best deals. I wonder if they think they can still get good money out of the Las Vegas market since it was one of the top EVDO cities, so they're keeping their EVDO phones high? Sneaky bastards!

In southern california the 8000 is listed on Verizon's website as $150 w 2-yr contract and $250 with a 1-yr. Yesterday it was listed for
$100 with a 2-yr contract!
