I live in the Kansas City area, and am not a VZW employee. I just called customer service -- the 800 number, as reception is sometimes spotty in my office building -- and I was told the release date is July 10th. The lady I spoke with said the phones are to be shipped out on the Thursday prior, and that most VZW stores are open 12-5 on Sundays.
I asked for pricing, and she confirmed $249.99 w/1 yr. contract, and $199.99 w/2 yr. contract. I asked about $50 rebate, and she said yes, that was true. With my NE2, 2 yr. contract, and the rebate, I will end up payi...

i think your cust service rep was one day off. all internal info is stating july 11th which is a monday. prices quoted are correct.
