BT Headset features

So with this phone, what all would you be able to do with a bluetooth headset? I mean, will you be able operate virtually hands free (I realize you may have to at least touch the button on the headset)

With my 4650, which has the "drive mode" you can "voice-scroll" through different items (that's my term, not LG's). Will this phone have that.....or just regular voice dialing whereby you say the persons name?

thanks

it will have to the same voice activation software as the 4650 from what i've seen. i wish it had the same side key for speaker so you could answer calls with speakerphone without even opening the flip. with the 4650 and also the moto 815 you can close the phone mid conversation and continue to use the speakerphone also. i guess you can't have everything.

Hmmmm....I'm pretty sure you can't answer a phone with the speakerphone button....have to do a test.

Yep...just tested it. You can however close the flip and continue the call once you've answered it if you're on speakerphone.

Actually...that side button is a bit of an annoyance....it's really easy to accidentally press it...(with the phone closed you have to hold it for 3 seconds....but while on a call...it only takes one touch and it's on)....maybe I'm just not used to it yet.

try this, with the speakerphone off, call your phone and then hold the speakerphone button for a few seconds without opening the phone. don't hit it multiple times, just hold it for a few seconds. i was just playing with this for a customer the other day and got it to work. let me know

WOW! That does work!

I didn't think to try holding it in for the three seconds! Cool beans! 😁

yeah, i love that. no way to do it on the 8100 cause the speakerphone button is under the flip. bummer. i like the 4650 by the way. feels like it'll hold up pretty well and the speakerphone is pretty clear.
