I must say...I didn't like the Bluetooth pairing with my HS850 headset at all!
For one, it wasn't as easy as expected.
I know alot about Bluetooth and how it works so it wasn't that much of a problem for me to get it working properly. I know many customers are going to have a few problems.
When I press the button on my headset it goes to a "last call" type of log. I didn't like that at all either.
When I tried to do a voice dial, I didn't hear the audio on my headset which was quite disapointing. Make sure you shop around before making a decision of this magnitude.

Best Regards,

Of course for those of us who have no interest in the bluetooth functions of the phone, this makes no difference...

Not everyone has interest in this phone because of it's bluetooth features...

Now to answer some questions.
if your going to choose bettween these to phones.
I would go with the 8100 personal.
Coming from a v710 (which I'm using right now to connect to the internet over bluetooth), I was waiting for a long time to get the Vcast E815.
But seeing what Verizon has done to the phone makes me want to fly to NJ walk in Verizon's head office and hit someone in the mouth.
Now when I got my V710 I loved it, I didn't like the fact that it was missing alot of BT profiles, but it was ok I lived with it.
I have used the E815, along time ago, before verizon released it, and I loved it.
I had a friend that was testing the phone;
most of the profiles at that point wasn't disabled.
I still can't believe verizon disabled...

That was one hell of a good post 😎 Answered a lot of questions on here. I'm with you. As a V710 owner, I'm going with the 8100, but I'm gonna keep my V710 as a pretty good backup. Makes me feel pretty good that a phone I bought a year ago is still near the top of the chart. It looks like that $249 I paid is finally paying off, too 😁

Thanks! -- It's good to know that before buying the phone as some people are interested in the phone for that reason.
