Switched to the 15th!

Not to upset anyone, but when I was showing the page that previously stated the 11th as the release date to a co-worker, I noticed that the date was changed to July 15th. So don't get your hopes up, some markets may release them on the 15th. I can verify though that we have a shipment on order and should have them in stock next week, as to when they will let us sell them is unknown at this time for sure. I am in the west area (Arizona).

I have a co-worker that just got finished testing phone. He had be testing it for alittle over 2 months. He has wrote alot of the materal that poeple at verizon are reading.
Now he is still telling me the 11th, now you could be right it could be the 15th.
But I wouldn't be suprised if I saw it sold in some markets on the 11th.
I wouldn't be surprised if I saw poeple with that phone this friday.

I know what your saying, I did see the 11th release date, it makes no sense for a change. Also we almost always release phones on Monday's. Plus the 8000's are pretty much out of stock. So I don't see what the hold up is. However, I did see the 15th with my own eyes so I don't want to get to excited about the 11th.

I have no doubt that the 11 may be the release date for some areas. Perhaps the 15 was just referng to your area, or a glich, but seeing as PhoneScoop.com is updating their information that get's a little more detailed, it seems as though they are paying attention to it.

After all, we all know that sometimes these sites don't change things until months or years after the phone is released... but yea, the info's starting to update and people are spotting them. If the 15 is right, it might refer to your area, and possibly others.

Minnesota - Last Thursday I stopped at the mall VZW store to see if they had any 815's to play with and when I asked the sales guy about the 8100 (he must have been new, that's okay) he called over to one of the other reps (who was very busy) he said it would be the 15th. Of course I thought it was bs because of all of the 7/11 stuff on this forum, but I guess he may have been right! I only did not post because I know everyone is tired of all of the rumors! Sorry!!! 😲

I can confirm as well that it has switched to a release date of the 15th. Just checked up on it today under the launch package on our intranet.

It's for sure, the 15th it is..

The launch package was changed today to the 15th..

No big deal guys , a few days 🙂

The 815 will probably win this race - I am very concerned about the 500 names on the LG.. I have 500 plus and the Moto stores 1000.

The LG's notoriously have had bad reception in testing. I am afraid this will be the same.

Believe me I am a Samsung guy but the 815 is really good right now..

I'm in West Area sales and the official launch date is still July 11. Sometimes what VZW does they only launch a product ONLY B2B (business to business) the first week of the launch date so it could be possible that it might be a few days after July 11. But the 8100 is not really classified a business PDA or on that type of phone handset so I'm sure everyone in retail in the 12 western states will have it on July 1 😎 1

Nikedabs... where are you located? It seems Verizon has spread out the release of the 8100 - probably to address inventory issues. Anyone heard anything about the Washington DC Area? The stores I've contacted keep saying... "coming soon".

I am in the West. You will be to get the phone on the 11th! If the store does not have any in stock yet they can have one sent to your house by the next day. The release date has not been moved back.
