Verizon is Awsome!!
SO I had a 710 and it was not working right so verizon let me get a fru 8000 for 50 dollars. When I got it home I have been having reception issues the past week so I called today and an E815 is being overnighted to me in exchange. And on monday I get to upgrade to a 8100. Isnt that awsome.

How did you get them to overnight you a replacement? They always require bringing the handset to the tech dept. at a store before exchanging. Are you doing this through WPP - Asurion?

Nope through Fru replacement I paid a total of 13 dollars for overnight delivery yah i cant spell but u know what im saying and thats what matters hehe...

Sorry but I don't believe this unless this is your 3rd V710 with issues.....I've been having nothing but problems with this lousy 8000 (2nd one in 5 months) and both tech support and customer support keep saying policy is to keep replacing the phone. Not upgrade..

I'm guessing he had a 1 year contract....and verizon is running very low on the V710, if not very low, completely out... so theyre giving him an e815...hes probly getting the vx8100 on monday because he is due for an upgrade...
sounds about right....what do u think?

Heres the whole story...I upgraded to a vx7000 in fall of last year. After 9 months I had alot of issues with reception and dropped calls so they switched me out for a new 7000. We did this 3 times and then looked into different models. We found that the closest model without loosing features is the 710. So they sent me a 710. After 2 of those with issues the techs in the store were able to replicate a rep told me if I pay $50 I can get any phone I want refurbed. I requested a vx8000 and payed the $50. I am now missing calls 3 times a day and all of a sudden I get a voicemail. I called and spoke to a rep about getting a different Vcast phone and they are now sending me a E815 it will be here on friday. Im upgrading to the VX8100 on ...

If you're nice, and we get the "High Value" whisper, you very well could do this. Good job.
You sound like you have a lot of problems with cell phones though. I know tons of people with 7000's, 8000's and 710's. Only one person has required a replacement. I don't get how people have so many problems.
