Wait for the 8100 or get the MOTO E815?

I have an LG 8000 now and will return it before the 15 days is up because the thing is so huge I feel like I could wear it as a belt buckle at a rodeo.

I've had an LG TM510 for the past two years and LOVED it, but its time to get with the times and take advantage of my new every two plan!

i think i want to go with the 815. especially because of the price. i am also trusting moto on this one. i figured they would see the problems with the 710 and fix them....im crossing my fingers on it at least!

Motorola has poor quality control. I had the v600 and the V505 with At@t and they both were very poor. From what i've read about the V710 its the same story. If you go read the forum on the E815 there are already threads about the quality of the camera (dead pixels). Motorola's make cool looking phones, but they aren't reliable. I would wait for the 8100.

I just bought the e815. Seems like a decent enough phone. I think the lg 8100 is a much better looking phone. The hs850 bluetooth headset I bougtht to go with it seems really loose and a little scratchy. But, that might just be the headset. The features are nice. Recepetion is a 4 out of 5. I've only had it for a day so far so I don't have much more input yet. Nice big screen on it. I have a feeling the lg 8100 might be a little more compact and a little nicer styling. As for reception and functionality, that remains to be seem how the lg 8100 will compare with the e815. I think if the lg 8100 was a little less expensive I might trade in the moto e815. I had a lg 6000 and thought it was a great phone. Hope this helps.

I'm not sure about LG's reliability anymore either.

why is that? ive had the 7000 for about 4 months now and i love it. i just want speakerphone and bluetooth. ive been wanting the 710 for a long time now but when i relized how flakey it was i didnt want it anymore so i put my hopes up for the 8100 but now that the 815 seems like a good version of the 710 i kinda want that.

I would say wait for the 8100... i have the 710 now so theres no way id get the 815... looks exactly the same. i dont see any differences really, except the EVDO/Vcast... The LG has what im looking for... bluetooth/512mb internal storage +expandable and sick stereo speakers... cant wait!

I stopped into my local Verizon store and was going to pick up the E815 and the Verizon rep told me i should wait for the VX8100 over the E815. He said that it would be out within the next week or two, he said either this coming monday (11th) or the following monday would be the launch date.

yah but full retail it is 100 something more. I guess it depends if you are buying it with an upgrade or full retail.
