Let's review:
May 27th..... delayed to
June 15th.... delayed to

This is not rocket science, Verizon. Just release the darn phone already!

the thing you are not realizing is that verizon is not providing these dates, they are merely speculated / made up.... which is precisely the reason that verizon does not release a date in advance.. because they have learned so many factors can affect the release date (software glitch, production delay, sometimes they have to sell through the inventory of another phone before the new phone is released...etc)

I don't know what you're talking about Verizon put on the INFOcenter July 11th. The 8000 is just about out of stock so I don't know what we're waiting for

vzwlgman- i understand that this newest date is actually on infocenter. however, none of the other dates were ANYWHERE legit! The initial post was complaining about all the speculated release dates and that verizon failed to deliver the phone on those dates.. i was merely pointing out that all the prev dates were not provided by verizon. Would also like to note even the newest date that is in infocenter is still not provided to the customers because it is not set in stone either.

I wasn't at all trying to snap at you, sorry if it sounded that way. It's just that I work through eROES and I ran the upgrade app on June 16 th and it expires in 30 days. On July 1st they changes the Matrix so now I can't get approved again. So I was waiting for the 8100 to come out on the 11th so I could upgrade and not have the app expire. But now we won't get the phone in time before it expires then I'm S.O.L

It doesn't matter if the application expires. You can run it again at any time. As long as you never complete it. The only way it wouldn't work is if you process the upgrade like an equipment upgrade without actually changing the esn. Then the system will think you upgraded and change your eligibility date.

Its all good. little miscommunication - happens on the time online, especially on a posting forum such as this. Good luck with getting your 8100... I won't get the phone for sometime after it gets released. i will have to process my upgrade through employee phone program the day its released...then that process is taking about 10 - 14 days currently. âšī¸

hahahahahahaha employees dont get their hands on new phones especially ones of the 8100's magnitude, for a month of so afterwards thats how long it took to get the 8000 onto the employee phone store then if they r backordered, employees have 2 wait til customers orders get filled then the employee services r notoriously slow on top of it all... đ

You can get it at the store, but they look down on it for taking from their inventory.

The date on the picture is now changed to the 15th. It's on the Launch Package PDF screen if you guys have it in InfoCenter. I have InfoManager. Sorry guys... I want this phone as much of as the next guy. Don't expect it out on the 11th... Pray for the 15th.

I told you guys yesterday my boss in Fremont, CA went into a verizon store looking for the E813 he asked about the VX8100 they went to the back room and brought one in the box to him.
He did not take one because we are on a corporate account but he did get back to the office and called our Verizon rep and ordered 2-to ship on Monday, Also ordered the HS850 headset so both of ther should be in his office by Tuesday.
