Hello! I saw the thread with the new pics where you indicated that you had posted them on Howard Forums. I would like to ask you a question regarding the e815, please.
I've posted this question in the e815 forum, but wasn't sure which way I'd get the fastest answer.
How is the e815's external display compared with the v710's external display? I know the v710's display was really "blocky" looking and was wondering if the e815's is pretty much the same. I'd really like something that has a good external display. It doesn't have to be "top notch", I just don't want to be looking at a bunch of blocks!

Thanks! By the way...for anyone who has been able to actually see both phone in person (e815 and vx8100), which would you say has a more appealing design? The e815 is more appealing in pictures, but pictures aren't everything!!

I haven't seen the vx8100 in person yet, but I spent about 20 minutes on Weds playing with the phones at my local Verizon store.
My impressions on the e815 vs the vx8000.
Both feel much lighter than my current vx4400. However, the vx8000 felt more substantial in a way that wasn't directly related to the size or weight of the phone. I can't really describe it, but it felt more "real" than the moto. I thought that the e815 felt very toy-like. I really disliked the mushy feedback of the buttons and the general "bland" look of the phone when opened. Honestly, if it weren't for the LCD and the backlighting, I could have easily mistaken the thing for the dummy phone they had sitting at the store entrance.
