Saw the 8100 Last Night
I saw the 8100 last night - an employee at a Verizon store brought it out for me to look at but couldn't sell it yet - got two different dates - the 11th and the 15th. Price around $199 before rebate. Looks much much better than E815.

You think it looks better than the e815? Just curious b/c I, like many, am trying to decide b/t the two. What do you like better about the looks?

Hey miss piggy, I bought the e815 on monday, it actually looks a little outdated. I owned the vx6000 before the e815. The vx6000 looks more advanced than the e815 visually. I'm thinking I might change it to the lg 8100 if the cost isn't too much different. Plus, the BT system seems a little scratchy and the earpiece doesn't let the volume get loud enough. p.s. good to see you again.

The phone seemed sturdier than the E815. The display on the 815 was not too impressive and the buttons seemed quite mushy and cheap. The phone will only be $50 more than the 815 - in my opinion a much better investment.
