I just called a Verizon store in Rochester, NY and was told no 8100s were in stock and the 8100 won't be for sale for two weeks. I'll give you the store number if you would like. Sorry. I was really looking forward to getting a new phone Monday. 😢

thats just for your area then. besides, the store employees wont know when they will have the phone in stock untill they have it in stock. dont be surprised when some people are able to get the phone before others are. i live in the midwest so i just hope i get one sometime this month.

I just got off the phone with my local Verizon Store in the Washington DC Area. They said "the phone was not released yet".
I asked her if they had received any in stock yet? The lady said "the phone has not been released yet and that's all I can say".
I asked her if she knew when the phone was going to be released and she said "the phone has not been released yet and that's all I can say".

I called CS today and the man i spoke with was VERY nice. He looked up the VX 8100. I asked if there was a release date, he said, "Let me take a look at the launch package." Then he said the date on the launch package was July 15th (I'm in the NE market). He said he hadn't had a chance to actually demo the phone and said he probably wouldn't get the chance to do so for several years (he was a little jokester - nice to talk to someone with a sense of humor).

I spoke with two different CS people today when I called the 800 # and they both told me they are going to have a big launch on Monday the 11th.
I don't know how two different times I call they would have the same thing to say about it if it wasn't true. So my guess is the 11th.

Maybe could be the area you are in? Funny b/c I called a store about 1 1/2 hours away from me too see if they had a dummy 8100 (none of the ones nearby had one and this one didn't either). Well, then I asked if she (at the store) knew anything about the e815 (as far as personal experience w/ the phone). She said they hadn't gotten the e815 yet and didn't know when they'd get it!

I just stopped by a kiosk and asked her about the 8100 and she just smiled and said, "It's not released yet." But her smile told me, "HAHA we have them in the back!!!!" 😲 😈

My Verizon Store took it out and showed it to me yesterday(Long Island, NY), but I wasn't allowed to buy it damnit. Originally, we were allowed to buy it today, but verizon made them change it

I just called #611 and after 15 minutes of waiting I was told these will be released at the end of the month. Try it yourself and see what answers you get. I hope he was wrong, but...

Each time you call them, it is a different story. Depends on who yet get. If you get one of the few who will have it shipped to you, that's great!

I have gotten the releases date of July 11 (Monday) twice from a supervisor. But obviously communication at their phone headquarters is less than their wireless service. Don't know why this is so difficult.

ok, in the northeast region my store (which i cant release) got ten in stock and merchandising changes go into effect on the 15th. i played with the phone and the camera quality is better than any other phone we have sold.

yeah i know, but people who say they work for the company or talk to people that work for the company keep throwing around random dates. we get email updates as to when merchandising changes and the one that says "introducing the LG-VX8100" is dated for friday the 15th
